Sports betting and playing fantasy sports is not the same, said J.T. Foley, executive director of the Coalition for Fantasy Sports that represents four fantasy sports companies — Underdog Fantasy, PrizePicks, Betr and Dabble. “That’s a big part of my job and other people that I work with, is to go and educate the difference between fantasy and sports [gambling] products. It can be very confusing if you don’t know, if you’re not familiar with the products or you’re not familiar with sports itself.”
